We’ve configured and administered VMware vRealize Operations (vROps) to monitor large vSphere clusters, create health scorecards, and fine-tune capacity planning. Integration with SolarWinds provided comprehensive visibility into network performance and virtual workloads across datacenters.
For deeper analysis and automation, we deployed Splunk to aggregate logs from vCenters, storage systems, firewalls, and Active Directory. These insights were used to build dashboards for uptime metrics, failed logins, resource consumption, and backup status. Automated alerts and scripts helped reduce MTTR and increase SLA compliance.
In disaster recovery scenarios, SRM and Veeam reporting were leveraged to validate site readiness and runbooks. Routine DR failover testing (hundreds of VMs) confirmed infrastructure resilience without impact to live production environments.
